Always

Although it's my natural inclination, I've noticed that, for whatever reason, I've been feeling much more introspective as of late. Often, throughout the day, it seems like there are always certain people and ideas that drift to the surface in my thoughts and then linger there.

I think of my kids, wondering and worrying about their futures, hoping that I'm helping to lead them in the direction that God has planned for them. I think of myself and my dreams, praying that I will accomplish all that I want for my life before the days quickly pass. And I think of my family, friends and all of you too...thankful for the wonderful moments and words that everyone brings to my world.

Anyway, with that in mind, I just wanted to say a little hello, wish you all a very happy weekend and let you know that I'm thinking of you :)

  2. Tricia, your photos
    never fail to inspire,
    as does your beautiful
    heart. I think the winter,
    especially, brings out
    introspection ~ and
    it's good to go with
    the flow : )

    Happy Weekend, sweet
    friend!

  6. We cannot help but think of our children and their future in this uncertain world. Just need to cling to God and do his will.
Love how you do a selective focus. I always forget how to set my camera for it.

  10. Just googled selective focus and a whole bunch of tutorials tell you how to do in in Photoshop. Is that how you do it, or do you set your camera up for single focus. I have a NIkon D90.

  25. I have always thought that you were a rather introspective person, a "deep" soul. We are alike in many ways...I know sometimes I think too much! Keep a close eye on those thoughts, they usually tell us what we need to hear.

    Have a lovely weekend, dear.

    XO,
    Jane

  27. Lovely words and images. I believe introspection is a gift, helping you understand your feelings and others as well. My favorite moments are moments of quiet introspection. And mothers are made to wonder and worry about their children... Yet with God's guidance we can lead them down their own path.

  34. I've missed your posts, Tricia! It's so nice to see some of your beauty again. (I think you need to release some of your worries ....Let go, let God. Of course, I always need to be reminded of that--and my sons are 31 and 33, respectively. I find myself saying, "If only..." "If I were doing this again...")

  38. What a beautiful post this is, Tricia.

I honestly have to say, that even though my kids are much older than yours, I still find myself doing the same. It's all a part of the Mom experience, and although sometimes it includes a lot of worry, I wouldn't have it any other way.

    I hope you're having a wonderful weekend.
    xo.

  43. I hear ya and I feel similar. It is this time of year I think ~ daily journaling helps me. I know once spring is here and I can out and about at the garden centers and working on my garden and taking my kiddos out to the parks, my massive intropecting will vanish, lol. :) Hope you are having a good Monday! It sure was hard to get out of bed at 6am today.. hee hee!
